In fact, I use a precisely identical system to what you describe above
(though with the replacement of oblique case for nominative), though I use
suffixes and postpositions (which have a secret desire to fuse into
affixes, of course). I was at one point toying with circumpositions or
prefixes, but those would mess up my stress patterns.
At any rate, is there some Tech text we can see? Conlangs always feel more
real after reading a few texts.
