Once I did a little study on Circassian, because I was thrilled by the
sounds.
I still remember the teacher being enthousiastic when he returned from
fieldwork: he had founda phoneme not yet discovered before: I believe
it was c^' and was in a word that meant "picking up from the ground sitting
in the saddle of a riding horse".
Most found him weird for being enthousiastic about discovering a sound,
But I understood him.
