The actual form has already passed through a "natural" reform. Everybody always said: "scienco" /stsi'entso/, so it became the official form, instead of /stsien'tsio/. Strangely, those endings in -io often tend to be simplified, but not the consonnant clusters like /sts/. Yet /sts/ is used in a very often used word (and not that difficult to pronounce if you try it): scii /sts'i.i/: to know. Christophe Grandsire |Sela Jemufan Atlinan C.G.
