Hmm, I didn't see it till you translated the sentence.  Despite its reassuringly
familiar orthography... "hualpo" is probably "vulpes"; "agilleto" is some
derivative of "agilis".   I can't explain the -ñ- either--maybe 'canis' got
converted to an i-stem somewhere, and thence to *canius ?
