Actually, that's partially where I got the idea for my setence
determinates.  Egyptian uses determinates at the ends of words to define
more precisely what they mean.  For instance, -- this isn't likely to
work without being able to write it out in hieroglyphs! -- the word "aha"
(imagine a dot, if you will, under that thar h) means "stand up" and
"eternity," depending upon whether one writes the sun symbol (denoting
time) or the symbol of walking feet (denoting something done with the feet).

I considered making a conlang out of it, mixing Hebrew and ra-en-kemt,
but never got around to it.
