I don't know if he's still on the list, but Danny Wier was working on a language that was basically based on 'reconstructed' Nostratic, but IIRC seemed to have a lot of Afro-Asiatic influence. He may well have used Egyptian as a direct source as well. ARE YOU THERE, DANNY WIER??? I'll look for his email address and pass it along if he doesn't pipe up. Kenji Schwarz
