But isn't that typical of the traditional way of doing things in
Chomskian "science"? ;)
What I really like here is the seeming assumption that the subject's
"remarkable" linguistic abilities differ from the norm in degree only
(?), not in kind.
And of course studies with a sample size of ... one are always
significant.
