I dunno about other dialects, but in mine it's definitely a syllabic
version of "r", same relation between the "r" in Red and sIR as between
the "n" in Now and suddEN.

Don't think there would be any. I don't think that the Kassí would use
flags.

Well, "themself" does exist. I know because I've heard it on several
occasions, can't think of any specifically right now.
