Khangaþyagon
yagonapontðaþ
['j&gon'&pont"D&T]
yag-on-ap-ont-ðaþ
speak-pp-make-pp-deed
The reason for the component "ðaþ" is that "ap-" is a verb whose present
participle takes the "agent" sense, and "ðaþ" must be added to form the
abstract sense. Conversely, for "yag-", whose pp takes the abstract sense,
it is necessary to add "hol" (person) to form the agent sense yagonhol
(speaker). This however doesn't correlate with whether the verb takes the
"on" form of the pp or the "ont" form. Khangaþyagon participles are a bit
strange.
