Makes sense... but what if your province is usually known by its
abbreviation? I live in B.C. (Canada), short for British Columbia, but
I'd almost never use the full form. On the other hand, I'd never say
AB for Alberta (is that even the right abbreviation?), and I don't
think any Albertan would either.
