I have been fighting with a temptation to enter this thread, and now failed. My
two kopecks: Westernization of education in Ukraine in post-Soviet times
spoiled lots of ppl. In my times (I'm 34 yo) *all* the students finishing the
school new what is "noun", "subject", "genetive" etc. Nowadays I see students
who study in our college, having graduated from secondary (your high) school.
*Most* of them don't know these things. Blame it on the "new der'mocracy"...
