I have to admit, my favorite vampire language predates most, if not all, of the modern vampire languages that have cropped up recently. I can find only two faults with it: one, it's a transparently Latin in origin, and two, it uses obnoxious little diacritics to indicate /ts/, /S/. In ASCII text. However, it's a genuine vampire language that actually has quite a large following (all things considered) and a growing body of literature. Just say it aloud and conjure up images of Vlad... To whet the palette: Cu cât s,tim mai mult, cu atât ne dám seama cât de put,in s,tim. Era as,a de frig încât au renunt,at sá meargá la mare. Concertul era as,a de prost încât am plecat dupá un sfert deorá. (In case the accent gets mangled by your email program, â is a-circumflex, î is i-circumflex, and á is a-acute, although the actual accent should be a breve. As I said, the orthography leaves much to be desired. t, is /ts/ and s, is /S/.) :Peter -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8eZF9evbW9GDdlVARAnlPAJ0Rq9UkIgtWxuYPtNDGLSoFxbeJTACfbLtF 4zjjMWgV0oLDwQkQ6KacDEE= =yfIM -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
