Well, I argue that *I* discover. I can't say anything at all about
how other people work.

I'm kind of touchy about this, because too many people have told me
far too often that <whatever they think "everybody" does> is how I
"really" do it, and if I think differently, I'm wrong and they know
me better than I know myself. (Tell that often enough to someone
susceptible, and they start believing it)
