off-topic: cultural anecdotes & third culture kids

I got the name of the man (where I got the anecdote of the man who
married a monocultural American and took her to Rome...) from my HS
principal: David Pollock, and Amazon.com reveals that the title of the
book is _The Third Culture Kid Experience: Growing up Among Worlds_.
I've only heard Pollock speak, haven't read the book, but it's on my
acquisitions list right now.  :-)  He's apparently from Houghton College
(upstate NY?  never heard of it).
