Anyone havc any info on the jargon called Chilkoot, spoken along the
West Coast of what is now the US and Canada. As a trade lingo from the
Tlinghits to the Baja?

that would be chinook jargon. it's a trade/pidgin language that was used
primarily on the west coat, reaching from Haida Gwaii to northern
california-ish. it has a multitude of input langs, with the coast salish,
athapaskan, and english being the most major, i would believe.
