You mean the Géarthnuns picking this up from the Slavs, I take it? If so,
this would have to depend on when the Géarthnuns came through. AFAIK,
second-position clitic auxiliaries are a relatively recent innovation in
South Slavic--say, within the last few centuries. Russian certainly
doesn't have them, and I don't think Old Church Slavonic did either,
though I may be wrong. Perhaps Ivan knows...
