The Elves are anatomically close enough to humans that interspecies sex would
raise no problems in that respect. It'd indeed be close to "sex without
consequences". I do not yet know anything about what cultural attitudes might
exists to it. It may, of course, vary wildly between different human and Elven
cultures.
