Well, now that I mentioned this page, there are three trnaslations into O= ld Rithian, my first conlang. The first part is a translation of the first few sentences from a short t= ale I wrote at highschool. The second one is a translation from a little poe= m I wrote originally in Spanish, which has been translated into English, Fren= ch and Swedish... Chleweyish version comming soon. The last work is a translation from a song by Silvio Rodriguez (cuban compositor and singer). I will try to interline... I'll explain romanization as needed (most Thompinian characters have equivalents to roman characters and diagraphs). ::.:bill dia arsa ahude juf psid dul-i detis kal sehoi ili Xef. jil hehide ?ecHas shiti, :bill rre niknehi cHes'n, psif fyli flos, psif fyli lum cHa re i?ihide juf blesyli bial ghiXius cHaw cronsohehuid pha?. h/H: the one dot symbol where originally used for "h", then I added a sec= ond distinction with a double dot. The symbol usually represented by "h" (on= e dot) is mude (can lengthen previous vowel or pronounced as a glotal stop = in intervocalic; after a consonant is usually part of a diagraph), the symbo= l writen as "H" or "hh" (double dot, as colon) is a glotal fricative /h/ wh= en not part of a diagraph. x/X/j: originally (and explained by the fact Thompinian originated crypti= ng Spanish), the cross symbol where used to represent "j" and occacioanlly "= x" (as the "x" in M=E9xico), while "x" was represented by a symbol similar t= o epsilon. I soon developed a tailed cross symbol for represent "j" in languages like English or Swedish where the sound is postalveolar or palatal. Here "x" is representing the epsilon lyke symbol, "X" is the cr= oss symbol, and "j" is the tailed cross symbol, in Rithian they are /kx/, /x/ and /j\/ respectively. ? are symbols that where lost when I converted from WordPerfect into MS-W= ord and that I have been unable to figure out. _pl: plural _3m: third masculine _3pl: third plural _3sg: third singular _impast: imperfect ::.:bill Bill ::. is capitalization of title : is capitalization of first letter in word.
