19. ;-) Actually, part of the reason for the current number is
numerological. :-/ The cases are divided into two large groups, 7
non-local, 12 local, and the non-local are in turn (in the traditional
usage) divided into 3 core cases (erg, abs, gen) and 4 other cases. For
the Kassí, 3+4 and 3+3+1 are important groupings. That is, 7 by itself
is not special, only if that group of 7 can be divided into a group of 3
and a group of 4 or 2 groups of 3 and one of 1. 12 is special by
itself, but it best when it can be divided into 3 groups of 4 or 4 of 3.
