"Yogh" is a symbol used in langs like Old English (IIRC) to denote a velar fricative. "Ezh" is a symbol used in IPA (and some natlangs) to denote a sound like /Z/. Both are shaped somewhat like the number "3" (although the ezh must always have a flat top, the yogh can be either flat-topped or round-topped, IIRC...) Michael Everson had a thing written on it somewhere, but it's coming up 404 for me now. *Muke!
