Wow!  What interesting idioms! You must have worked long
and hard on those.  Do all of them have inspirations, or did you
just come up with them mostly on your own?

I heard an interesting one from Mayan yesterday:

"To keep the burden of Time" means to maintain the traditions
of sacrifices to the gods and understanding the sacredness of
nature.
