On x-lauts and other phonologically-manifested morphology:
I'm currently trying to read 'Explorations in Dependancy Phonology'
(Anderson & Durand eds 1987, Publications in Language Sciences No. 26, ISBN
90-6765-298-9). It's a mite more heavy going than most things I'm used to
reading, but it looks like it's going to be very useful for learning about
the way all that good stuff hangs together.
If I can ever get more than a few pages into it, I'll prepare a review, and
will attempt to become a source of answers.
