Hm. Maybe. At the moment I can only think of examples with a related
structure, namely something like "onnan" (=from there, thence) and
"amonnan" (from that place over there), an example such as:

Peti onnan jott, de Edina amonnan jott.
P. came from there, but E. came from that place there. (a different place
than where Peti came from).

The distinction between "az" and "amaz" (etc.) is, at least in my usage,
basically the same as in the above example.
