I also read it a long time ago, in an interesting anthology called "Where
Do We Go From Here?" (edited by Isaac Asimov). I enjoyed it a lot, but in
retrospect the Martian language seems too "neat", almost as if it were
designed to be easily decodable. Perhaps it was a Martian IAL?
