I've been bringing my daughter along to camps of the mini-nation we
belong to since she was 4. But I figure that living one week a year
with 50 people who think they are barons and admirals, and arrange
full dress gala dinners in a tent camp on a little island with no
electricity or running water, is weirdness enough for her. (For some
reason, not all kindergarten teacher are ready to believe that kids
have had lunch with the queen).
So apart from helping her learn the national anthem (in broken
Interlingua) by heart last year when she was 8, I haven't tried
involving her in conlanging.
I do explain word origins at her until she's bored, though.
