I'm a bit reminded of an essay of Dorothy L. Sayers I read
a while ago - she was taught Latin by her father at a rather
early age. Language comes natural to children. Our eldest comes
home full of Turkish words, and while some people say it's a shame,
we rather like it. A while ago our children were so enthousiastic
about language that they started to invent a language 'for real'.
I rather think I posted their results on the list.
