Well, if it's a Romance language spoken in an area or environment in
which its Romanceness distinguishes it from the other languages around
it, you could just take a form of the word "Latin", "Romance" or "Roman",
the way Ladino and Romanian do. Conhistorically, until it was accepted
and adopted as their national vernacular by the majority of the Judean
population, Judajca was known by its Hebrew name _Italcit_ "Italian" -
and by less polite names ;-) .
