Elitists?! Around here, the usual pronunciation is ['r\Ezr\=vwa\r]
(alternating more or less freely with the Frenchier-sounding -[@vwA]),
and I've never heard it with -[vor].
There are plenty of words that trigger eye-rolls when pronounced in
the ['prOpA frA~S 'm&n@], but that's not one of them.
