See http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/edict.html for a downloadable version of Jim Breen's EDICT dictionary. You need to have a program that can read EUC-JP coding to make sense of it, and all the pronunciations are in hiragana. But learning hiragana doesn't take long, and it's a very convenient dictionary. Glenn Rosenthal's JWPce (http://www.physics.ucla.edu/~grosenth/jwpce.html) is a very useful Japanese text editor, which also uses the EDICT dictionary to look up words. -- languages of Azir------> ---<http://www.io.com/~hmiller/lang/index.html>--- hmiller (Herman Miller) "If all Printers were determin'd not to print any @io.com email password: thing till they were sure it would offend no body, \ "Subject: teamouse" / there would be very little printed." -Ben Franklin
