Ah, but that's quite different. Obviously English is the *sensible*
language for documenting conlangs; that way, anyone can learn about them.
But if you document your conlang in French, people have to learn French
first before they can learn the conlang! What a waste of effort!
:-) (but I have heard arguments like this before in auxlangish circles...)
