quite so *nods* but it's not as much of a "wow" as one might think, because they never actively taught me any of them, except for some English and Hebrew. though it did help me to somewhat avoid getting 'hardcoded' language patterns. which in turn enabled me to teach myself English, to the extent that I no longer have an L1 at all. that's not all it's cut out to be, though. you've been warned...

...and I will too, when my language can express the above *grins* though I prefer to use native expressions, so I would translate it as "holy macaroni how it...", in the style of Batman's Robin. but it still doesn't feel right somehow. by the way, it's a quote from a *very* surreal remix of Bamse. Camilla "milda makaroner vad det ryker ur farmors ödla"
