Am I right in assuming that even though "Featherstonehaugh" is pronounced ~ /'fEn.SO:/, the simpler name "Featherstone" is in fact pronounced as it is spelled, like "feather"+"stone" (=~ /'fED.R=.ston/ for various values of /R=/ ranging from /@/ to /@r\/ to /@r\=/, etc)?
