Surely you mean your dialect.  In South Texas Spanish, hiatus
resolution is accomplished in a variety of ways:

  lo odio        [lo.Djo]
  mi hijo        [mi.xo]
  era asi        ['e.ra.'si]
  se hinca       [siN.ka]
  como uvitas    [ko.mu.Bi.tas]
  esta hija      [es.'ti.xa]
  la ultima      ['lul.ti.ma]
  paga Evita     [pa.Ge.Bi.ta]

In other words, your Spanish allows a marked feature like
vowel hiatus, while in the Rio Grande Valley, it has done
away with it.
