Lego's name itself is a metaphor of sorts*:
LEGO /le:'go/- 1> construction toy of interlocking plastic building blocks
(from Danish _leg godt_ "play well", from _lege_ "to play")
2> _lego_ Greek for "gather," "choose," "select," "read," "say,"
"speak"
* also an "up-date-ation" of _Dada_ (from French for "hobbyhorse")...
Dada being the early 20th C. anti-Art movement...
_daida_ <Greek, "Daidalos", Latin, "Daedalus"> is "total art"/"skilled
creativity" and is relatable to _lila_ <Sanskrit, divine creative play>,
_ludo_ <Greek, "play"> & _edo_<pleasure> [from "hedo"]... _eido_<Greek,
"thought/idea shape/form>
_ji_ /zhi/ <energy> [mutated from Chinese _chi_/Japanese _gi_]
_je_ /zhe/ <earth, soil> [mutated from Greco _ge_]
_jeo_ /zhe'o/ <(the) world> [mutated from Greco _geo_]
_Gaia_ /ga'i'a/ <Earth, nature/natural> [somewhat directly "appropriated"
from Greek myth]
_maya_ /ma:ja/ <Sanskrit, illusion, magic, supernatural, artificial,
man-made;
the power by which the universe becomes manifest, the
illusion or appearance of the phenomenal world>
{relatable to _mammon_ , _nummo_, _ducca_<dhukka,
"suffering">, _caca_, etc.}
_galaxi_ /ga'la'iksi/ <galactic/(the) universe(s)> [GrecoLatin-mutation]
_Cozmoz_ /koz'moz/ <Cosmos/cosmic> [ " ]
I hope I got the SAMPA (or whatever right)... big hint: vowels are like
those in the highly phonemic Spanish 5-vowel system.
