I notice that /j\/ tends to be interpreted as /dZ/ by English-speakers. In fact, I once thought that Colombian Spanish used /dZ/ for <ll> and <y> having heard what sounded to me like /dZo/ and /dZamo/ from a Colombian girl I knew.
