No, not really. Hence the ";)". Although my speech tends to
adapt to the person I'm speking to. If I speak to a non-native
English speaker or to myself, I speak American English, but
when I talk to a British-speaking person, I lose the r:s and
even get some [?]s. I suppose it sounds funny although I can't
really hear myself and my co-workers don't say anything. Perhaps
they're just being kind. :-P
