I've been working on making some images of how i'd like the Montreiano
version of Gothic Rotunda to be. It's actually more like a mix between
forms of Gothic Rotunda and Gothic Quadrata forms. In other words, not
quite as angular as Gothic Quadrata, but not quite like Gothic Rotunda (it
lacks the square baseline terminations). So, if i've reproduced an
existing script, it would be interesting to know. Otherwise i'm naming it
Montreian Gothic.
I haven't completed the image yet, but once I finish, i'll be sure to link
the image. One of the diversions from most Gothic scripts is, there is no
"biting" of certain letters (sharing of stems), so all letters are
distinct. There are also some decorative flourishes, such as on the figure
2 shaped r. Also, i and j are both dotted, in order to more easily
distinguish both, since the forms can sometimes be confused as being part
of other letters.
