I know there are works on Irish Travellers' cants
(Minklers Tari, etc). It's been a long while
since I looked into them; and it seems to me that
they were heavy on the sociological issues and
light on linguistics. That mostly because these
are marginalised and uneducated people who tend
to be secretive about their activities.
