OK, I've just looked at the PDF. I haven't had time to read it actually, but I have a comment on the looks of the text in the file. It looks as if the fonts have been embedded as bitmaps rather than outlines, which gives them a shabby look through Acrobat Reader (although they print nicely). You should check the settings of the PDF995 printer (the Font tab specifically) and click on "Set Fonts As...". On top of the window that appears there should be something about "Send True Type Fonts As". Make sure to use "Outlines" or "Type 42" rather than "Bitmaps".
