Orthographically, it'd now be Cars-ten, which is one possiblity, but Car- sten would also be acceptible, that's the problem. Which one of both I prefer I don't know myself. The only orthographically valid way to hyphenate "Carsten" is Cars-ten NOW, but it USED to be Car-sten. C.
