About fonts for conlangs:
I tried Softy, a shareware font editor, but I never could figure out how to do
TrueType. I was able to work out a South Arabic-based bitmap font for Tech
once, but I kept changing my mind on whether the language would be written in
Arabic, Latin, Greek-Coptic, Ge'ez, or a native one.
Right now I'm leaning toward a rune-type script based on South Semitic or maybe
Egyptian demotic, but I'll have to get pretty creative since there are a lot of
consonants I have to represent. And there's the whole issues of vowels (only
six basic vowels though).
