Here's the thing: You can only have Fontlab for three days, after which point
you can't save any of your fonts. So here's what I did. Fontlab costs $399.
There's no way I was spending that much money. However, their Typetool only
costs $99 (still pricey, but not too bad). You can't design fonts with
Typetool; only adjust them. You can save fonts, though. So I kept the
non-paid-for version of Fontlab, and I use it to design fonts. Then I simply
paste them onto the template on Typetool and voilà! It's pretty sneaky, but
I like the results.
