Sorry for confusion - the statement whose weirdness I was intending to refer to was the reply, "What sort of crazy did you go?" "I went crazy two years ago" is fairly mudane. (Well, there's the whole metaphor schema etc etc cogling stuff, but even so it's a fiarly humdrum example thereof.) - Sai
