In Rubaga, at least, with open syllables (one of the few places Rubaga parallels common romance). The phonetic changes, greatly simplified, are: stressed unstressed [ae] [E] [a6] [6] [Ao] [O] [Ei] [I] [Ou] [U] [ii] [I] [uu] [U] The orthographic changes are: {a} {a} {ea} {e} {oa} {o} {e} {i} {o} {u} {i} {i} {u} {u} note -- although both orthographic and phonetic have 7 rows, there's no 1- to-1 correspondence!
