Reformed German orthography

Have you heard about the new German orthography?
I just saw this article today in the local newspaper
where they informed that the reformed German spelling
that had been discussed for 10 years has finally began
being employed, and most of Germany's magazines and
newspapers were using it. It was actually aproved and
used in schools since last year.

Do you know how this new spelling is different from the
old one? I don't know German, but I can read it aloud
with reasonable accuracy, and it seems pretty easy and
phonemic to me!
