Neat! A long time ago I worked out another simple
system where I used 26 different open sylables euqated
to each of the 26 letters ( A = RO, B=NA, C=KWI, etc
). The each letter was replaced with the corresponding
sylable which guaranteed pronouncability. (CAT =
"KWIROLI" for example )
The problem is that it doubles the length of every
word (as does my granddaughter's system).
I like yors better since it keeps words the same
length. The next step would be to stir it up with
Latin-like grammar or Swahili-like noun classes, or
something really unique to distance it from its parent
language.
