Norwegian does also, and prefixes the indefinite article. More
specifically, the same article is used, and whether it is prefixed or
suffixed tells whether it is indefinite or definite.

For "bok" (book), we have:

ei bok (a book)    bøker  (books)
boka (the book)    bøkene (the books)

(The second letter in the two plurals above is supposed to be the o with
a slash through it, in case it's messed up in your readers.)

Or for "bilde" (picture):

et bilde (a picture)   bilder (pictures)
bildet (the picture)   bildene (the pictures)
