When I translated from Kamakawi in a previous relay (was it #15?)
one of the most interesting aspects was the syntax, particularly
the use of the subject status markers. And the phonology, while
not unusual enough to be a source of major interest, makes it
a very pleasant language to work with. I'd be happy to work
with Kamakawi in this inverse relay - or with any of at least
five or six of the languages I've heard mentioned as possible
or probably being used.
