Thank you for correcting my bad memory. Actually I'm not a linguist, but I've studied some linguistic things by my self in my way these years. This group is like a bubbling fountain. Thank you very much all, I'm enjoying, even if there are many difficult technical terms for me. I'm a visual artist, and maybe too unique to be here, you might think. But Languages are not for linguists only. Are you curious how visual artist construct a language? You are thinking logic....logic in one line like algebra with vocal bases, but using visual thought, a language system could have a geometrical structure. The rational ways of cutting a cake equally are different for between square shaped and round shaped ones. The rational ways of communication systems are also different for a vocal based language and a visual based communication. My ideal language named The Earth Language(EL) is for all earth people, and it wants to support the real democrasy. It means everybody speak their own native language and yet communications are available between other cultures. Everybody could be called in the correct pronunciation for their names by a easy recognizable phonetic signs. Also EL should help children to lean their own native languages. Only visual based language can make these real, I think. http://www.sfo.com/~ucathinker/earth/english/vbasis.htm I'm shy to introduce you my website now because I started to change the terms and the way to explain refering to your discusions and the HPs. My English is pity in many places, but if you like, wellcome and I'll be glad to get any suggestions from you.
