I have the opposite syndrome: I cannot write correctly in block letters. Even in forms which have little squares for each letter, I tend to write cursively. As a result, my capital block letters are difficult to recognise (especially D from O). On the other hand, my cursive handwriting is not aesthetic but easily readable (but slow. I remember that during classes I was always two or three sentences behind from the teacher when writing notes, although I was abbreviating a lot what they said. I've never understood how some people managed to write everything down at the speed the teacher was talking, while my hand was aching of trying to write too fast after half an hour!).

No problem!

You're too modest here. I've not read it all, but the document, even unfinished, is great! It's definitely worth looking, and worth making a PDF of it :)) . So I did it (it took me five seconds, so it's not as if you were using my precious time ;)) ). The result is OK, not as good as I hoped, but better than the PDF files of the Unicode site ;))) . It's a bit big though (3Mb compared to the 300Kb of the Postscript file. I suppose it's the Roman transliteration of the Ebisedi texts which doesn't please PDF, because normally it doens't make such big files :)) ). But for 46 pages it's still acceptable :) .

I still never made a font myself. I have a program for it, but the documentation is 500 pages long and I still didn't find the courage to look into it :)) . The universe of fonts is still a big mystery for me... Christophe. http://rainbow.conlang.free.fr Take your life as a movie: do not let anybody else play the leading role.
